I was planning to write a blog post about Lily’s birthday today, but I spent most of it looking after the brilliant and indefatigable birthday girl and am now knackered. I had sprinkled confetti all over the house to make it bright and beautiful, but here is a picture of one of my socks after a long day of walking on confetti:
